Looking for way to send e-giftcard for gas in NC, SC or FL

Does anybody know of a gas brand in the Carolinas or Florida which allows you to send an electronic gift card for gas and delivers the e-card the same day?

I'm trying to help out a friend who has run short of cash for gas. He doesn't have PayPal and isn't really tech savvy, so I'm looking for a gift card that will pop up in his email and he can use to buy gas. I called Speedway because I know they're in that area, but their electronic gift cards take 48 to 72 arrives to be delivered to email. Suggestions appreciated.

In my corner of Florida we have Raceway, Chevron, Exxon, Tom Thumb (Kroger). Will any of those work?

Don't know, but I'll check. I think Kroger's grocery site might be the most likely to have electronic gift cards. Thanks.

It might be too late to help, but have you considered a Visa or Mastercard gift card from Amazon. Depending upon location, Amazon may be able to deliver one of those via same-day delivery.

If there is a walmart with gas pumps near him just send a WM egift card. He can exchange it at customer service for a plastic card and use it at the pumps.
