None of the places you are planning to visit were affected by either Hurricane.
And yes, you should definitely visit Charleston. You will probably regret that you didn't leave yourself more time there.

I like Jestine's Kitchen Home | Jestine's Kitchen in Charleston. Coca-cola cake after their friend chicken. Good southern cooking.
A little higher end is Husk. Home ? Husk Restaurant: A Celebration of Southern Ingredients But still great southern cooking.
