Maik Kai By Myself
 

I know the food leaves a lot to be desired, but I really am in a Tiki mood. I am going to be in Ft Lauderdale this week, and was thinking of going to the Mai Kai by myself while I am there. I would not do the show, just food and check the place out. I am not much of a drinker so the bar really isn't too appealing by myself. Normally I don't have any problem dining by myself, but this place kind of feels a bit odd to me. Think it will be OK?

Not worth it. It's a set menu and the service revolves around the show, so if you are not going for the show, you will still have to sit through it for dinner.
