Mia overnight transit.. drop off luggage?
Hello all, we have a AA flight tomorrow afternoon...

PTY-MIA

the day after we fly in the morning

MIA-UVF.

Can we drop off the luggage at Mia transit desk in order to avoid carrying around things?

Most probably not since we are leaving the airport overnight.....?

How long is the connection at MIA? If it's less than 12 hours, your bags should be tagged through when you check in at PTY and you will be able to drop them back off once through customs in MIA (you might even get lucky and the bags will be tagged ITI and you won't have to collect them at all at MIA). If it's more than 12 hours, then no you won't be able to.
