Siesta Key...excursion recommendations?
 
good evening from Ohio! Our family will be traveling to Siesta Key in August as we all really enjoyed Siesta last year on our first visit. We changed condos and are closer to "Point of Rocks" which my one daughter really enjoyed along with my wife. Last year we rented a boat and had someone take us around the Sarasota Bay along with doing some sea shell hunting etc. I was wondering from anyone with expierence with Siesta or the surrounding, other potential recommendations to experience either excursion wise or site seaing wise. Our daughters will be 13 and 14 at the time. Thanks!

Kayaking through the mangroves would be a great idea for that age range. We used a kayak touring company (unfortunately no longer in service) a couple years ago and we had a wonderful time! You will be able to find similar kayak touring companies on TripAdvisor.
