40 Hours in Santiago -- Advice?

Thanks to some AA/LA airfare magic, a friend and I will be visiting Santiago, Chile for a day-and-a-half during the second week of November. We would very much like to get a general city overview--major sites, museums, etc.--and sample as much wine as possible before turning around and heading home.

Does anyone have recommendations for a potential itinerary? Are there any good tours (private or otherwise) that we may want to consider to make the most of our time?

Thanks for the help.

Santiago is a nice city but you can do most of it in a day or two. Have a look at this site for help:

Make sure you do go to Santa Lucia Hill there is a great view from there and you are not to high so the smog does not bloke your veiw.
