Quito airport duty-free

I'm heading to Quito for 10 days next month and wanted to know if the airport has a duty-free store in arrivals where I can pick up some cigarettes. Easier to purchase there than taking up space in my bag from the US.

Thanks

CJ

I recall that the exit from immigration sends all passengers through a duty free shop before customs and the airport exit. I have no recollection of tobacco, but definitely booze, perfume, candy, the usual stuff. My brief inspection was that, like all of those types of enterprises, the prices are no great bargain.

Thank you YadiMolina , I've definitely found in the past, especially in IST that tobacco products are amazingly reasonable compared to the US (it's a horrible vice, but when imbibing I fall back into). :(

The duty free stores in Quito are managed by Attenza , a Panamian company owned by the Motta family.

A small selection of tobacco is sold as indicated here.

and here is the contact form that may be useful -

They occasionally have a promo if you reserve and purchase ahead of your journey. You may want to ask if it is still running.

Thanks malagajohn . Quito doesnt show that they sell cigarettes on their main site (but they do), and after fighting with the date of arrival calendar using Chrome, I finally got it to work via Safari. Order placed and a pick-up next to baggage carousel #4 on my arrival.

Thank you all for your help.

No discounts, at least right now, on cigarettes. There were some fairly good deals on some liquor "packages".
