Save to rent and drive a car in Ecuador
Planning a trip to Ecuador mainland and want to hire a car and drive it for 2 weeks from GYE via coast, jungle, quito and back to GYE. Is it save to drive in Ecuador. Have driven in Mexico and Costa Rica before but that was years ago. I can not judge it but I think it is save in Ecuador with a bit of common sense and respect for local rules...
