SCL immigration for departure flights?

Does SCL do immigration for people departing Chile (not a connecting flight)

Yes. There is passport control and you will need your entry receipt to present to the officer.

Just came through SCL on a return from a vacation in March. Yes there was passport control to give the little receipt back, it was quick and efficient. We were going through midday and they only had one lane open and one x-ray, and we still walked through almost without stopping there were so few people. From the large layout it appears they would staff it up when they had a number of flights departing. Also the "Premier" lanes weren't well marked but didn't matter since no crowds for us.
