Chile trip timing

I am planning a trip to Chile for early next year. My current options are the last two weeks of January or the second and third weeks of February. I assume both times are “high season”. Would there be a difference in the “crowds” between the two options? Thanks

Personally, I would choose the last two weeks of January. Crowds will be mainly Argentina tourists (January is Argentina vacation month).

February is Chile vacation month.

Transport-wise, there is always an initial rush at the beginning, a smaller one in the middle and another major one at the end of each vacation month.
