Santa Cruz de la Sierra Bolivia

Hello,

Will have one night and one day to kill in Santa Cruz after a meeting.

Does anyone have an recommendations of what to see or go to in this short time?

There's really very little to see there. There's not a lot of history in town, unfortunately.

There are some upscale restaurants in town, though, as the city is rather wealthy due to the gas industry.

It might be tight but consider hiring a guide/driver for a tour of the jesuit missions outside the city.

Acquaintance of mine who lives there describes it as "Miami without the ocean"

I think he may be bias though!!!!
