Seat Assignment Issue
Hello, I'm strugging to get seat assignments on SAA, I redeemed a business award on Aegean - CPT-JNB-MRU, and when i use their booking reference number it won't let me book seats. I called SAA and they asked me to Aegean to do it, Aegean says to give the details to SAA, so i've gotten nowhere. Any ideas? Thanks!

SEAT ASSIGNMENT and TICKET #. SA. I too am having trouble on the SA website selecting seats and finding my ticket number. 2 biz class tickets booked on UA website with UA miles. I can see my reservation in 'manage my booking' on SA, but cannot find how to select a seat even after following the instructions (website say to find 'before my flight' and then select seats). Also, I want to see the ticket number on the SA reservation in case it is needed. Calling customer service is not effective as I just wait on hold listening to the same recorded message. I tried the app. Just as confusing as the website. I appreciate any thoughts.

I have just tried to assign seats for my booking, The same as you I cannot find the seat picking section. When I first booked my flights I could select seats then payment didnt go through so I had to start the boking process again so didn't bother selecting seats again, I thought I would do it from manage my booking like most other airline.
SAA need to sort their website out and fast they are losing bookings by people not being able to pay.
