Query: SAA domestic lounge OR Tambo
Hello everyone.
I've been asked to participate in an important meeting online next week, 08.00-13.00, before I catch SA343 JNB 14.30 to CPT.
Two questions. I have a Star Alliance Gold card, so I plan to use the OR Tambo domestic lounge. Can I enter the lounge very early (i.e. 7hrs before my flight) and are there any enclosed or semi-enclosed workspaces that are ok for taking meetings in?

1. Pre-Covid I certainly entered .>7 hours before my flight (used to come off BA57 with an evening SAA flight to DUR, go to the domestic lounge for a shower, then back through security for a day of meetings in JHB, then back to the airport for the flight). Haven't done it in the last three years but I would expect you'll still be fine.
2. From memory, I don't think there is anything like that - it's quite an open plan space. I guess you could tuck yourself into a corner and be relatively private, and it's been quiet the last couple of times I've been through, but it's not ideal.
