I strongly urge smokers to subscribe to this forum (just use the "Thread Tools" option on the top of the page) to have it appear on your "My FlyerTalk" page.
If you have a question about smoking facilities someplace, first look to see if there is a thread about it (eg: Berlin/Hotels). If there is, put your question there. If not, start a new thread.
Do not start a new thread about a particular hotel or else this forum will become so jumbled that it will be impossible to find anything. If, for example, there is no Prague/Hotels thread and you want to know about smoking in the Hilton Old City hotel in Prague, start a Prague/Hotels thread and put your question there.
Even more importantly, when you have information to share, please do so -- even if nobody has asked about it. Today I started a thread about Tel Aviv/Airports doing exactly that. As the situation for smokers constantly changes, if the latest post you can find about a place is over six months old, and you were there recently, please post either confirming that the situation is the same or telling of any changes.

Very good suggestions ^
I would just like to remind smokers to consider what is most important to them when looking for a hotel. If it is collecting points, then make your post in the forum dedicated to your chain. You can certainly ask if there is a hotel in the city you are going to stay in which allows smoking, but points are what you are really seeking.
On the other hand, if getting a smoking room is what is crucial for you, then post in the Smokers Lounge. You can mention your favorite chain(s) but if you are open to staying at any hotel as long as you can smoke your best chance of getting an answer is in the Smokers Lounge.

A post like that would be an incredible undertaking and, if you mean a thread instead of a post, it would be so long as to make finding anything in it impossible.
That is why this forum is set up as it is: Each thread (at least those threads where it is applicable) name the country/city/facility being discussed in it.
If you want to find out about smoking in, for example, airports in New York City, you would simply search the forum for thread titles which include New York and airports.
If you find one, you may well get your answer there. If you don't find one, start one and ask if and where smoking is allowed. We have enough smokers who fly in and out of JFK, LGA, and EWR who will be able to answer your question.
