Question airport taxes refund

Hello! i ve had a ticket from Fra via CDG to GIG (rio de janeiro) and travelled only the first leg. Air france refuses to give me the taxes back because I have started the journey. Aren t the texes collected only if the passenger actually flyes?
Is there any chance I could get any money back from them?

the best chance is having them reprice FRA-GIG to a one-way FRA-CDG (or return, which you won't take), which hopefully gives you a refund.

tax refund

Did you order ticket online via Air France? It sounds wrong. They should be able to refund.

You can also try via www.get-refund.com
