Best route BOM-SFO and HNL-BLR

Best route BOM-SFO and HNL-BLR
Hi all,
i am hoping do get an award ticker that includes a stopover and also an open jaw: i'm flying either out BOM or BLR going to SFO. then SFO-HNL, then HNL-BLR.
My question is mainly for the india-us legs, both BOM/BLR-SFO and HNL-BLR. There are the most options with these and wondering which carriers and stops would be best.
On some intial searching, i've noticed that KE only flies out of BOM. To go HNL-BLR (better for me on way back) on skyteam, I have to go through europe with a long lay over in the US. Considerably longer.
plus, not sure that if i were to fly KE from BOM-SFO, they'd let me go the other way through europe on way back to india without having to burn more miles by buying say a RTW ticket.
Anyway, a bit a complicated, but thanls for the help in advance.
