SkyTeam adds three new associate airlines
Today, September 4, 2007, SkyTeam welcomed the first ever SkyTeam Associates: Air Europa, Copa Airlines and Kenya Airways. SkyTeam Associates participate in the frequent flyer mileage program (accrual and redemption) and enjoy airport lounge reciprocity with all SkyTeam members. All other policies and procedures follow standard interline guidelines. There are currently no codeshare agreements with SkyTeam Associates.

I believe this was covered in an earlier thread. I wish SkyTeam would focus as much energy on South Asia and Australia as they do on these puddlejumpers

The text of my email was dated September 1st (just go it today though)....the big question mark here is that someone forgot to add the Airlines under the provided link within the email....there is no mention of the airlines within the SkyTeam section of Delta.com.
Someone should update the Web department when additions like this are made. At least add the logo's somewhere. |
Fabulous! Tonight we can party like it's 2006....

I just booked an award ticket today for travel this Friday SVO-BCN-IBZ-BCN-SVO, with the Spanish component on Air Europa, so this couldn't have come at a better time for me. ^ ^

Good news! COPA is a nice little airline. Full meal service on 1hr flights (C and Y), free booze on all flights, generally friendly service, etc.
