Is there any program , which lets you transfer miles between members for free?
Hi,
my family is flying on CO to US . they are not earning any miles , so i would like to create an account for each of them and than transfer the miles into one account. is there any skyteam carrier which lets me pool mileage ? (i know there is the familyclub of korean air, but thats a hassle because i have to sent birthcerticicates etc...) please let me know dp |
or
it is possible to earn miles while flying CO on any other carrier outside skyteam?
i need to combine these miles for free without paying any transfer fees etc. for example if CO would let me credit my miles to JAL which has a family plan this would be a great thing. cheers dp |

according to http://www.globalflight.eu/ you can credit CO miles to the following programs:
Aeroflot AeroMexico Air Europa Air France KLM Alaska Airlines Alitalia Continental Airlines CSA Delta Air Lines Emirates EVA Air Korean Air Northwest Airlines Virgin Atlantic What I would do if your family members earn at least 10000 miles each: You can credit those miles to Flying Blue and you'll get a AF/KL oneway flight within europe zone 1 for it (and this flight can be use by anyone including you, of course). |
thanks
yes ,
i will split it. credit to CO and transfer to hilton and the rest to KLM. thanks! dp |
Attention: You can't transfer miles between programs. This site just indicates in which FFPs you can collect miles when flying on any given airline!

If your family is going to fly infrequently (i.e., will never earn elite status) and shop around for fares, Alaska may be a good choice. Not only earn miles on 5 ST airlines (AF, KL, NW, CO, DL) but OW ones too (BA, AA, QF, LA, CX) but a good many OW ones too.
