Doing a RTW?
 

I have a friend who has recently purchased tickets for a round-the-world trip. Without even knowing it he purchased about 15,000 miles of the 21,000 mile trip on SkyTeam airlines. All except two of his flights are on ST partners. He is on the following segments on ST:

IAH-JFK
JFK-LHR
BKK-LAX
LAX-IAH

I guess the main segment he's missing is Europe to BKK. I told him to sign up on one of the ST partner's FF accounts (probably CO since he's in Texas) and make sure that his FF# is on every boarding pass when it is printed.

Any other suggestions I could give him to help him maximize his miles and make his trip more enjoyable?
