Is OK Plus the best FF programme in the world?
You only need 15 flight segments in one year to become a silver member - this entitles you to to free upgrades to business class on almost all occasions. I've never found another airline which gives out so many upgrades for free, not even in Sky Team.
I had quite a shock when I started joining other programmes like BA etc and found out they don't as a rule give out upgrades. And Star Alliance - that's even worse. Not even worth joining. |

QUOTE] Just a reminder, if you go and read the new rules of OK Plus, they are eliminating this free upgrade to certain fare buckets only. Even for Gold members it has become a restriction. I think it really depends on your travel pattern, even FB (although bad custormer PR), they have much better perks compared to OK especially for travel within the US, free systemwide upgrades on NW. I don't think that OK has anything special compared to FB or other Skyteam program due to the limited network. :) |

If you look into our other forums as well, you'll see that flyertalk is a great ressource of information to you. It would be nice to have you as an active member within our wonderful community of frequent travellers. |
I joined OK+ because of the easy segment qualification, good customer service and status upgrades. Unfortunately they are limiting the upgrades all the time, and I fear more bad news are coming.
One of the downsides to OK+ is that you can't check award availability online (though some ST airlines have it in Expertflyer). Also, when you call their callcenter they sound like they are so bored they will die any minute, both the recorded messages and sometimes the people as well. Just call there and listen! But I still like it there, I hope I say the same in a years time. And welcome to FT john11111111111! Nice to have yet another OK+ member here. |

I know they have limited it somewhat, but that is only for the very cheap discount tickets, I've yet to be caught out by this rule. I've never had problems with the callcentre, although i prefer to go to the office myself. When they hand out surveys I always keep emphasising that they should keep the upgrade perk but I suppose it won't last for ever. I don't understand why they don't have on line check-in though. I went on Turkish airlines which has fantastic online checkin, and then CSA are still struggling to get e-tickets on all their routes, never mind online check in. Even the BA online check in which only works 50% of he time would be preferable to having none at all. Although there never seem to be check in queues at Prague airport so it's not a big problem. The more I fly the more I get obsessed with FF programs - very worrying. |

If it works for you that's great, but to say that it is the best FFP in the world is quite a stretch. For most frequent fliers, upgrades to business class on OK to/from PRG are virtually worthless when traveling between the world's major airports.

I wonder what will happen to the programme if Sky Team really decides to dump CSA in favour of OS... :(
