Using Delta FF Miles for B-Class Ticket to Asia...URGENT!
If anyone can help on this matter, I trylu appreciate it as I know the immense level of knowledge that exists within the members of this forum....
I have more than 300k miles with Delta, but am not a silver, gold or platinum member. I am planning a 34 day excursion into Asia, and visit China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and Maldives. I need to book a round-trip business class ticket from NY (EWR or JFK) to a major hub in Asia, such as Singapore or Bangkok. My plan was to use 120k to get this ticket (Delta rep told me it will be 120k on Singapore or Korean airlines, but 210k on Emirates). Once in Asia, I would buy the remaining tickets myself...for example flying between HK and Shanghai, and Singapore to Bangkok, and Bali to Singapore, and maldives to Bangkok, etc.... The major problem is that Delta reps can't find me a seat on any of their partners to get me to Asia (either Singapore or Bangkok) on business class. I even tried NY to Shanghai with a return of Bangkok to NY, or NY to Bangkok with a return of Shanghai to NY..and it still doesn't work....does anyone have a suggestion on how I can accomplish this? I know that there are lots of restrictions on FF use these days, but any help would be appreciated...I am planning to fly on September 22 (flexible 21-23) and return on October 26 (flexible 25-27).... many manythanks in advance... P.S. I have posted this in the Delta SkyMiles section also... |

You've already posted this in the Delta forum and cross posting on different forums is frowned on. I would recommend it be followed over here

i used award finders. they are a service that charges $45 per ticket but only if they find you the seats for your award ticket. they made my trip happen when I thought it would not be possible to find a ticket. [email protected].

First, on the topic, you may also subscribe to awardplanner.com which is a service provided by the owner of the flyertalk board. I for myself am very happy with awardplanner.
I'm going to close this thread to further discussion as the crossposted thread on Delta seems to be the more active one and we can't have two identical threads on this topic. ralfkrippner, moderator |
