I've been out of the FlyerTalk loop for almost a year and need some advice,Please.

After 13 years living in the states, I moved back to Scotland. My Elite status with CO expired in Feb. but I am now flying a little more again.

From Aberdeen, service is available from AF and KLM. I already did a trip to Dubai on KLM and have an upcoming next week, ABZ-AMS-IAH (WBC) then IAH-YYC on CO, return. I haven't booked these miles to any program yet as I thought I'd better make sure I wasn't better off with AF/KLM.
Is there any challenges for faster elite or anything else I could take advantage of with this upcoming business class flight?

The only thing I can think of would be to list your primary address with CO in the EU and you should get 200% EQMs in J rather than 150%. I don't know enough about KLM vs AF vs NWA vs CO FFPs to tell you where to claim the miles.

I think you only get the 200% if you fly CO metal?

I'm still reading through AF and KLM stuff trying to see if either would be better.
