Don't expect anything until joining day, or maybe the day before.

Why not? Is this typical? I really don't remember much about the last time airlines joined. Which is strange because my airline was one of them!

SU is supposed to join ST in the coming days.
But the Aeroflotbonus site seems to be totally unprepared for this imminent
event. Website shows no info whatsoever about this upcoming event.
Maybe is there any chance of delay?
Any answer from Leningradsky Prospect is welcome?

Though DL shows no seats available on my June 5 flight from SVO to OVB, they do tell me now they can sell me the SVO to OVB leg of the journey on SU once SU loads the seats into the system. The nice lady said I'd earn miles too. This is very, very good news indeed. Now, we just gotta keep DL in business.

So, apparently, DL's computers now recognize OVB as a code share destination. Oddly, the DL website does not but calling in and going through the automated sequence will allow you to book a flight to OVB.

ST airlines' presidents are set to arrive in Moscow on April 13, 2006.
So, I guess the entry of SU into ST on April 14, 2006 is crystal-clear.

The Aerofot BONUS web site now has a new award table, effective April 14, to accommodate SkyTeam.

FB and WP show no sign of SU's entry into ST yet.

Good news about Aeroflot! Now what about MH?
Actually, Hawaiian flies HNL-SYD three times a week, and both CO and NW have previously flown to SYD (CO via HNL in the '80's and '90's; Northwest in the '90's. Neither made money on the route so they both pulled out. I'm not sure that Delta could do any better out of HNL, because most U.S. - Australia traffic these days goes direct from LAX.

CO also operates Guam-Cairns 2 or 3 times weekly, and I find AC's SYD-HNL-YVR >>> useful.

They really need to get a native speaker to work on their English websites, though. "Sincerely your, Aeroflot"

I am flying out of SVO to LAX the 17Apr on SU. And I plan to credit my miles to DL for this segment. Here's hoping that their computer system will process this correctly.
