And my favorite quote(s) from the AF station manger in BKK, "Skyteam only started on January first...We cannot do anything for you because Platinum flies much less than AF Rouge or Bleu...(and my absolute favorite) If we gave you perks, we'd have to give them to Aeromexico and Korean Airlines passengers as well!"
