SU and baggage allowance

If if if Aeroflot comes on board with ST in March of 06, how likely is it that connecting passengers from, say Atlanta, going to, say Novosibirsk, will have the 2 checked bags at 70lbs each as their allotted amount? As we know, all Russian airlines are notorious for the 20kg limit though I have found some exceptions on interline ticketing agreements (S7 and LH for one).

Do all ST partners allow the 2 at 70 for travelers originating in the U.S. and flying to wherever? Might this be a given in order to be in ST?

How is Aeroflot with respect to carry on bags, both with respect to size and weight?

On flights SVO-LHR in Y they are more reasonable on weight than BA (10 kg no problem), but tried to convince me to check a bag on the basis that it was too large for full flight (though it probably would have fit into an overhead even on an RJ). They are strangely less reasonable in J--even a 13 kg rollaboard is hit or miss.
