What fare classes earn full miles plus EQM's?
 

I'm trying to buy a cheap LAX-BKK roundtrip and I see a combination of KE, and TG gives me the best fare. It works out like this...

KE LAX-NRT Q-fare
TG NRT-BKK G-fare
KE BKK-SEL S-fare
KE SEL-LAX Q-fare

So I'm wondering if I can earn Flying Blue 100% miles on the KE fares and the same for earning UA MP miles for the TG fare. Also do I get full EQM's for this?

I've looked around the web for a while, but I can't come up with anything. Has anyone worked this out?

Well I thought about that, but I figured maybe some people here would know all these types of rules better. But I'll repost over on the AF forum I guess.

I started a spreadsheet, but then AF/KL made a monster mid year rehash announcement of their program, and have taken months to actually post rules.

Just to answer what I know for sure regarding KE fares.

S-Fare - Delta considers this "Almost Full Fare Economy" so you will earn 1.5 times MQMs plus 100% mileage under Delta Skymiles Program. All other SkyTeam Programs earn 100% on both Elite Miles and Award miles on this fare.

Q-Fare - This one is scary because it made me miss my Gold Medallion Level 2 yrs ago because I did not know it does NOT earn MQMs on Delta (nor award mileage) and on most other SkyTeam Programs. Only KE Program itself and one program in Europe (forgot if it is Alitalia or CZ) earn 70% of mileage (both Elite Miles and Award Miles).

G Fare for TG - From what I know, this one should earn mileage (both elite and award miles) because only W and N fares are not eligible (as of June 1, 2005). You should call TG to reconfirm this.

In conclusion, DO NOT FLY Q fare on KE, it is not worth it !!! pay a very little more and you will get a higher booking class with minimum 100% elite mileage.
