CO C or AF F?
I am on a DL F award LAX-CDG. There is no AF availability in F on the day I want. I can either fly home a day earlier or take CO in C on my day of choice. Opinions?

So if you have no serious difficulties changing your travelling date, i'd choose AF F, the previous day. No stories. My 2 cents :P cheers, luke |
Well- for me its the seats and the entertainment that makes the flight.. I would check www.seatguru.com with the aircraft you would be traveling on both carriers. Check the seat width and pitch- the more the better....I have not flown Delta, but CO does have a good business class product.

Take AF F the day before. No comparison to CO C, but CO C is much better than AF C.
CDG to LAX on AF is non-stop. CDG to LAX on CO is a stop at EWR or IAH, then domestic FC to LAX - if available. Even if you get CO C to EWR or IAH, does not necessarily mean CO domestic F to LAX. |
I traveled on CO BF for three years and while it is a very nice service I think AF F is much superior. Just returned from an AF F roundtrip to Paris. On the first sector SFO-CDG in particular, the service was exemplary, very attentive with lovely food and wine. I had Fois Gras de Canard followed by a Fillet D'Agneau. Then, a nice sleep in the old lie flat seats. To be recommended.
