Delta Air, Korean Air Get DOT OK For Antitrust Immunity
The U.S. Department of Transportation granted Delta Air Lines and its SkyTeam partner, Korean Air, antitrust immunity for marketing agreements that would allow the two carriers to team with their European SkyTeam partners to operate their global route systems on a broad network-to-network basis.
Delta said in a press release Thursday that antitrust immunity will also enable the partner companies to manage their flight schedules and seat inventories in a manner that will maximize benefits to the overall network.
