Skyteam status match
 
Hi everyone
I currently hold an Iberia Plus platinum status, and I am going to travel to latin America this summer with AF/KLM (Economy). Any chance I could get a SkyTeam status match with a partner airline so it makes the trip a bit more bearable?

No , havent heard of such lately . And i dont include ITA cause its as much a skyteam member as i am member of the avengers

Miserable though the ITA Volare programme is, and tenuous as are its relationships with other SkyTeam members, the bright spot seems to be the recognition KLM/AF are prepared to offer. Maybe the recognition is patchy beyond those airlines' hubs, but it might be useful to the OP.

That said, I have no idea if the status match is still running...

Delta was matching: maybe worth checking.

Maybe too late for OP, but Kenya Airways (Asante Rewards) is currently doing status match from just about any FFP. BA Gold got Asante Gold which is SkyTeam Elite Plus.
