SkyTeam iPhone app no available from October 2020

Today I updated some apps on my iPhone SE and the SkyTeam app (Version 2.93) says that it will no longer be available from this month.

I did not find it a very useful and up to date app. Why didn't they make this work e.g. update the lounge information, airline timetables, airport information etc? Wouldn't this multi airline channel be something that an airline alliance would put front and centre for passenger ease and usage. Or this is being dropped solely due to the vast reduction in flying due to the pandemic?

I have the same message today. I was using it rarely because so many outdated information. FT is much better than this app
And the website is still there, so no big deal and, knowing the context, I think the Skyteam app is at the bottom of the priorities for the airlines who are fighting for survival.

all these details you mentioned are covered by other apps such as loungebuddy , flightradar24 , checkmytrip , the app of your skyteam airline ... and so on

the only feature i really enjoy with the skyteam app is the 90 days offline schedule . Useful to plan trips while flying over atlantic

i guess because it was never a priority , and even less now as goldorak said. Take a look at this app , it is the same since i downloaded it few years ago many years .

How many times skyteam members updated their apps ?? and i dont just talk about user interface . This app is ok for AV geeks and ST heavy users , but nothing more , they never really invested into it
