I am wondering if any of the SkyTeam members offer direct status match at this time ( not challenge ). I hold Oneworld Sapphire ( BA Silver ) and Star Alliance Gold ( TK Elite ) status's and I usually fly transatlantic on BA or LH-group and several short-haul flights with TK but I might switch to the AF/KL group and SU for transatlantic's and European flights because of their super low prices in all travel classes. For the moment I only have a KE account which most promo fares on non-KE partners give 0 miles. It would be easy to achieve Flying Blue Gold by flying 2 times by IST-CDG-AMS-OtherEuropeanDestination r/t in J for a €599 ( or less ) ticket ( Z fare class ) each but if there is a direct status match it would be easy for me.

So, what program you could suggest to me? Should I start collecting miles with FB or should I directly match status with an airline that offers? Thanks for your advice in advance.

If you intend to fly mostly AFKL, get Flying Blue, otherwise take DL Challenge https://www.delta.com/content/www/en...challenge.html

Thanks for this advise. It would be a difficult choice for me. Probably, I'll wait until my first next SkyTeam flight to decide.
