Alitalia / Delta Codeshare upgrade
 
Question for the crowd. I booked a return flight home for the wife and I from Rome later in the summer. DL ticket stock, operated by AZ. Got a ton of Amex points to burn. Any way to use AZ miles to upgrade either to Premium Economy or Business class? Booked into U class.

Unfortunately, upgrades using AZ miles may only be requested when holding a 055 ticket.
