Delta/Aeromexico Vacation and Delta/Aeromexico Flights

Delta/Aeromexico Vacation and Delta/Aeromexico Flights
I initially booked vacation with Delta Vacation then Delta Vacation changed my trip over to AeroMexico Vacation while doing price match. This cause myself not able to use Delta mileage and not getting Delta bonus miles.
Now I am stuck with Aeromexico air tickets with Delta flights through ATL.
Tickets are AeroMexico and flights are operate by Delta.
Questions are
1) Do I still get 1st check bag free (per AeroMexico Rules)?
2) Any experience on fling Delta with AeroMexico Tickets?
3) Should I apply to AeroMexico mile program or just let miles add to Delta?
