hi i am planning a trip from tlv to nyc and I'm an alitalia gold member (freccia allata) i was wondering whats my best airline option, choices are air france, alitalia or klm. thanx for the help.

Not flown Alitlia in a while but that would be my least favoured option but they are all pretty much of a muchness.

You may get better advice if you state which class you will be travelling in.

AF, KL, and AZ, in descending order.

Are there any benefits that the Alitalia elite has on his native metal vs. a Skyteam partner?

I flew Alitalia once about 15 years ago. It sucked. These days I just avoid the whole alliance for the simple reason that I have no logical path to elite status on it.
