SkyTeam Lounge Access Rule Question

Per the SkyTeam site:

All international First and Business Class passengers traveling on or connecting to/from a same-day international flight operated by a SkyTeam member airline have access to our exclusive lounge facilities. Simply present your same-day (First or Business Class) ticket for an international SkyTeam airline flight.
Does this mean unlimited connections within one day? Say I flew SFO-DTW-ATL-AMS in Business Class, can I access all SkyTeam lounges at all the airports? What if SFO-DTW-ATL was in Economy? I should still be able to access the lounges correct?

Thanks

I would say yes, although other than DL, there aren't many SkyTeam domestic flights where there would be SkyTeam lounges. For example, for NCE-CDG, it's a contract lounge at NCE. KLM has no domestic flights, although the opposite direction would mean lounge use at CDG if you just arrived on an international flight in business or first class. The rule would also seem to cover something like USA-CDG in coach followed by CDG-FRA in AF Eurobusiness class and vv.

Thanks for the info. What if SFO-DTW-ATL wasn't even on a SkyTeam airline? According to the rules, it looks like the only thing that matters is the international leg right? So if ATL-AMS was on KLM, I should still be able to access all lounges as long as its a same-day connection?

No you cannot access skyteam lounges when not flying a skyteam airline. No matter if its within 24hrs of a skyteam flight. Hope that helps.
