SkyTeam Downloadable Timetable

Does anyone know what has happened to the SkyTeam downloadable timetable (for PCs)?

The webpage for it still exists: http://www.skyteam.com/en/your-trip/...ad-Timetables/ However, for the past few weeks, when you click the 'download' link it gives an 'Error 404: Page not found' message.

I hope it has not been discontinued. Even with more and more things being done directly online, I still find a downloadable timetable very useful. Not least, it gives a 7-day search option (not just 1 day), which gives a much better idea of which airline(s) operate a certain route, even if they don't fly every day. Once downloaded, it also returns search results much quicker. And of course, it can be used offline (eg: when you're on a late-running flight without onboard wifi, and want to check your onward connection options...)

A number of airlines have been discontinuing their downloadable timetable offerings, so it is quite likely that the same happened to the SkyTeam timetables.

Being a KVS Tool Member, you can access real-time 7-day schedules via the [Timetable] Tab.

I've still got it and it works fine. I could try and find the installation tool and send it to you if you like (I'm not sure whether that's possible, though - I mean sending you the tool as a file somehow...)

Indeed - I may end up having to do this, as KVS seems to be the only other source of 7-day schedules. However, while I find KVS incredibly useful for other purposes (availability, fares, etc), personally I preferred the SkyTeam downloadable timetable for initial flight searches. (Being offline, it returns results much quicker, and is better for finding SkyTeam-only itineraries).

Many thanks for this offer! However, I still have an installed version (and the installation .exe). My concern is that if it is no longer being updated by SkyTeam, then it will rapidly become irrelevant, as airline schedules change over time. (For example, the version I do have doesn't include GA yet...)

It is undergoing maintenance according to the website. So hopefully it will come back some day. http://www.skyteam.com/en/Flights-an...ad-Timetables/

And, of course - welcome to FlyerTalk!

Is it me, or did DL or someone else at ST now kill this? No longer downloadable on their website and the existing app can't find new updates to the schedule.

There are now downloadable PDF timetables for SkyTeam available at:
www.skyteam.com/en/Flights-and-Destinations/Download-Timetables/

The full timetable (all regions) is 63Mb and 6,850 pages. They also have region-specific timetables, which are presumably somewhat smaller.

Personally, I found the ~8Mb application more convenient - but it's good to have at least some form of offline timetable available again.

SKYTEAM Travel Desk

This was so usefull for customers not living in Parishttp://www.flyertalk.com/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif, and as for AF, Paris is the center of the world, they decided to remove it.
instead of it, you have a PDF files with only direct flights, not usefull at all.
Do the same, complain to Air France for having it back.http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/images/smilies/mad.gif
Regards.

I seriously miss it too. They insist to say that pdf will be fine while it is annoying, heavy and not friendly in case you have transits.
Give us back the exe file!

It's official! They are seriously sick in Skyteam! Who can even think to use their huge PDF? Maybe a dreamer who has a lot of time to spend...
On the other hand, the app for smartphone is not complete, do not give general overview and comparisons (between airlines and different days) and require always an Internet connection which is sick too.
The EXE file was useful because even during a flight you could check your travel planning and copy and paste to mail later somebody and having feedback on alternative flights.
Moreover it was a light software running easy and fast.
Probably they never tried to understand who and how was used their EXE.
:mad::mad::mad:
Hope they will reconsider...
