Keeping First Class Pajamas?
Which airlines allow you to keep them and which don't?
I haven't flown 1st yet but will for my honeymoon coming up. I don't want to make a faux paux. Help me out FTers! Thank you! P.S. Does this apply to Business class too? |
Keeping First Class Pajamas?
I've only received first class pajamas from BA and they do let you keep them. I can't imagine that any airlines would want them back to be honest.

BA and Cathy do, I'm not aware of any that want them back. Similarly I'm not aware of any airlines giving out PJs in business class.

I kept mine from upper class of VS. My buddy kept his from CX first class.

ALL first class airlines allows you to keep your PJ's. Look at Ebay 😜 no worries...

I have yet to fly any airlines that have wanted their PJ's back after they have been used.. Or otherwise.. Congrats on your upcoming nuptuals/honeymoon.
|
I have kept my BA and QF. The latter I sometimes use on BA when flying in CW overnight.

Congrats on the wedding
No major airline with common sense would want to deal with the washing and re-packing of already used PJs. |

British Air attendants let my significant other to take Concorde items home from dinner service on flight 001

Based on personal experience the following airlines provide PJs and do not ask for them back:
First: Swiss, BA, QF, AA, CX Business: Jet Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Enjoy your trip! |
thank you FTers you guys rock! Thanks for the well wishes too. I can't wait to go on our honeymoon, I'm looking forward to the flights the most because I have developed so much envy from being on this site.

SQ lets you keep the PJs. They sometimes even offer a second new set.

To bring this thread a bit more into context here on the Skyteam forum: What is your experience with Skyteam airlines and PJ's offered in First?
|
I have received and kept pajamas from Qatar in business class on IAD-DOH twice.
They were comfortable on the 13-hour overnight flight; looked pretty quickly worn after a few washings--I can't imagine they would have wanted to keep and recycle them with other passengers. I ended up wearing them for a paint job at home! |

Garuda Indonesia (which is joining SkyTeam March 2013) let's you keep them too. The maitre d'cabin even offered me a second set to bring home to my wife. :)

The question here is.. Why would ANY airline take back a piece of clothing given to U? . The unit cost is not much and plus if they do require you to give back. Refuse. Your in 1st. Doubt that they will argue with U nowadays due to Twitter and Facebook etc.. Would bring bad publicity for them.
