Best Skyteam FF program for fast Elite Plus status?

Is there anything even remotely close to *A's amazing A3 program?

I'm not interested in the differences in award redemptions but only in quickly achieving status to allow lounge access (plus, hopefully, also booking exit row seats for free, etc)

It depends on your flight pattern.

For example: when you book mostly short routes, Flying Blue is an option. With Silver (=ST Elite) you can access lounge for a fee.
With Gold (and Platinum, both ST Elite+) you can access the lounge free with a guest. Lounge access only when you have a Skyteam international ticket.

FB Silver can be achieved with 15 flights (=sectors)
FB Gold is 30 flights, FB Platinum is 60 flights.

Mileage earning however, is very low when flying low-cost-tickets (mostly 25% earning, sometimes even 0%)

If it is for lounge access only, you can also look at Priority Pass.

Thanks for pointing this out - I've lost that status quite some time ago and am down to Silver. SU's requirements for Elite+ are 50,000+ miles in a single calendar year, which are way more than I expect to fly on ST.

I was admitted to the lounge in EDI when flying to LCY in Y with WX last year.

There were and still are many exceptions. In South Korea, KE allow AF elite+ to the domestic lounges : eg GMP-PUS both way lounge access.

Some years ago (2005), AM allowed FB Elite+ in domestic MEX lounge.

AFAIK the FB offer of lounge use for a fee for FB Silvers is only good for AF/KLM lounges.

DL AmEx cardholders can purchase a $25 per person admission to DL SCs. DL passengers can usually purchase a discounted SC day pass during OLCI. There's also a one month membership.
