Question about Status Match
 
I had a whole lot of business travel last year and achieved gold status on US. I'm sitting on only 16k qualifying miles this year (unfortunately I flew 9k on Delta for some work trips) and have little to no chance of requalifying even for silver. What is the typical experience for non-challenge status matches? Do any of the airlines offer this and, if so, which ones?

Sorry if this was answered elsewhere but I had a hard time finding the answer.

It's difficult that an airline status matches you now based on 2010 qualification without a challenge.

Malev does, but requires one flight. Guess one could call that a challenge too...but its not a hard one ;)

Malev? Hungary? lol Guess that's interesting.

So no one else will status match based on your status today?

I'm sure most carriers won't...
