Seoul - LAS

Can anyone help me find availability using miles for Seoul - Las Vegas, leaving 10th Feb and returning 15th Feb? The most direct route possible!

Many Thanks

Martin

The first route that comes to my mind would be ICN LAX KE LAX LAS DL

You can also fly ICN DTW LAS on pure Delta.

On 10 Feb you can fly with DL via DTW (as stated above).
If you take the first leg with KE, you can go to LAX, ATL or JFK and take a direct DL flight to LAS from there.

For the return flight on 15 Feb, the "pure DL" option does not exist because DL flies from DTW to ICN only on Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat.

Two remarks, martin_d:

1. You youself could have found this out easily by using the Skyteam timetable, which can be found on the Skyteam website. Just download it.

2. How can you expect anybody to give you advice here if you do not even mention the particular Frequent Flyer Programme that you would like to use? Without this information, close to nothing can be said about award availability.

cityflyer, I'm asking on behalf of someone, so not familiar at all with skyteam, hence my post on this useful forum. I've obviously touched a nerve, by asking a simple question, if this forum isn't to help and advise people, is it just to ridicule and comment on new members ignorance? I also just assumed that skyteam was like staralliance and you could use your miles\points across any airline. Am I mistaken? The person this is for is in the KLM FF programme.

thanks to others for their useful input

Don't take it too personally. People just seem to expect that someone with 170+ posts would not ask questions with so much missing data (for a Skyteam redemption).

@ martin_d: You can use your miles across the airlines also within Skyteam, but award availability depends also on (a) the Frequent Flyer Programme and particularly (b) the status you have with that programme. This is not different from StarAlliance.

OT: It might be possible that you are overreacting a bit. After all, I looked up all possible connections for you and, additionally, gave you some help how you can find out these things yourself next time. And yes, you could have given some more information, or at least explained a bit more about the background of your question.
