Best SkyTeam Lounge in JFK
 

I have a 6+hour layover in JFK.

I am departing on DL BE and therefore can use any SkyTeam lounge.

From what I read the KLM Oasis lounge in T4 is the best.

Or should I go to the AF lounge in T1?

Any advice?

The Oasis may be your best choice! It seems to have the most in terms of variety, space, views, and selection (of drinks and munchies).

I like the library area (off to the right) if you need some quiet time

The AF lounge in T1 is also very nice - though with a little bit less amenities (smaller bar, fewer food items).

I do like the decor quite well - very modern, wood and metal-y... Good views and friendly staff as well...

You have time to visit both :D - though AF is past security... not really an option if you are not airside already...

Oasis lounge (T4) and AF T1 lounge are both very nice. But I'm not sure you can use any of he skyteam lounge in your case. If they all were in the same terminal, OK but as it's not the case, I don't think it's possible. You need to use a lounge in your actual terminal of departure. If you go to AF lounge in T1, first I'm not sure the TSA will let you go through security (with a BP for a flight leaving from another terminal) and if you go through, how do you go to T4 after ? Term 1 at JFK is a pure international terminal, so there is no domestic exit AFAIK.
Oasis lounge in T4 is landside, so easier to handle in your case (if you want to give it a try ;) )

The alitalia one has been refurbished and carries a nice selection of food and drinks, too.

Terminal 1 Lounges
 

I am departing on SU from Terminal 1 in Business. I am also ST Elite +. It is my understanding I can use Korean Air lounge as an SU Business passenger (SU has a contract with KE), also I can use either KE, AF or AZ lounges in T1 as a ST Elite + passnger. Any advise on which one I should use, which one is better or should I just lounge hop? In terms of food/drinks/ambiance, which one of the three do you prefer? Where are they located? Thank you.

KE is to the right past security, most of the way down the hall. It is the only one of the three I've been in and it was wholly missable. I was there for the midnight departure; dunno if that makes a difference.

I believe the AF lounge is straight through security towards the end of that hall.

Yes, AF lounge is at the extreme right of terminal 1 (right wing after security)
