Delta miles - RDU to THR (Tehran)
 
Hi all,

I almost have 80,000 Delta miles, which seems to be enough to get to the Middle East. I need to get from RDU to IKA (Tehran) and was wondering what the best routes are (economy) that cost no more that 80,000 Delta miles.

Looks like Alitalia and Aeroflot fly there. Your best bet is to call Delta reservations and be patient.

You may also want to subscribe to ExpertFlyer or KVS to search their award availability on your own. If they have their saver coach levels, Delta should be able to book you. Good luck!

Good idea, however only EF has Alitalia award information (a recent addition), luckily they also have a 5-day free trial.

Great thanks very much! I will look into EF to find a good route. I won't be able to use KVS anyway, since I have a Mac and they seem to be biased against Mac OS.
