what to do with CZ miles?
 

Hello, guru! need ur advice: goin' to book south china airlines flight OVB-URC-OVB in R. but have no idea what to do with miles: use it or forget it?
i'm in SU programm, but they give 0 miles for R, also in BA, AA, BMI & Skywards.
maybe i can convert CZ miles to ctrip points or some hotel programe?

Keep them. And accumulate other Skyteam awards to it. CN airlines give more benefits than others as they still calculate the distance in Kilos.

None of your FFPs besides SU Bonus lets you earn miles on CZ so the point is kinda mute. Anyway ever since CZ joined the alliance I believe the earnings have been quite uniform across various FFPs, with the same non-earning booking classes. So if Aeroflot Bonus doesn't give you miles for R class, chances are nor will any other ST FFP.

yeah., for R even CZ itself giving no miles. btw it's almost twice cheaper then Y, so it's Ok! Will think that they convert my miles into cash discount %D.

and as a advice to anybody who's goin' 2 buy CZ international tickets - try to do it 87 days before departure - will be good deal
