Sixt Customer Service Contact
Hi, is there any way to contact Sixt post the car rental? I need someone to sort out an issue and I tried to call but can't even get through to anyone. This rental company is a nightmare to try to conytact.
I had rented with them in 2019 and out of the blue in 2020 they came and informed me that I owed them payment of tolls which they never mentioned almost a year back and admin charges. This was really poor of them however I do not want to challenge that as it's been over a year. I paid the original sum of EUR36.60 but late as I had suffered bad covid and had family deaths, and didn't see the email as they were all in my spam folder. Sixt did not even bother sending me a proper letters at all to say I owe them this and until I cleared my spam, I did not even know this. This is very unprofessional given that they have my postal address and my phone number. However it seemed they had sold the debt to eCollect and they said I owe them more as they slapped on admin fees which are ridiculous at £104, on top of the EUR36.6 which I already paid. I had tried to contact the team at Sixt however no one responded back to the emails and when I tried to contact eCollect, each time they just add on more fees and threatened to sue me in County Court. The original sum of the fine which they want is now 3x over even though I paid the original sum which I owed. I sent various emails but to no avail and I need help to sort this out as it is ridiculous as I don't owe them admin fees. I don't know what to do. Can anyone please help? |
