dubai, Sixt or Hertz
 

Hertz Presidential, Sixt Platinum, never using Hertz Before, having experience with Sixt at DTW, Las Vegas and LA, the service is quite nice.

However this time for Sixt in dubai , after reading all the negative review in FT for charging you even you take the full insurance and also negative review in google, I m a little worried if Sixt in Dubai is very different to those in US..

Hertz in dubai is more expensive and Sixt offer nicer cars.

However I don't want wasting time checking the cars with 1 scratching or risking being charging for non sense.

Please advise.

Keep in mind that Hertz in Dubai is an Independent Licensee, so your PC status may not mean much, if anything, there. Some feedback on Hertz Dubai in this FT thread. Basically, pick your poison. That said, I rented from Hertz at DXB a few years back and had no issue. The checkout process is a bit clunky to be sure, but they were professional and I had no issues other than some settling up some fines for blowing through a bunch of speed cameras during my trip, but Hertz can't be faulted for that. :)

Any other experience for Sixt in Dubai?

I read that thread so I'm bit worried about this.

Some countries have mostly corporate owned locations (North America). Countries with unique market conditions unfamiliar to the home country are more likely to be outsourced to a local, experienced operator.

Sixt in Dubai every day. The franchise owner in the UAE also has the franchise for Mercedes so most cars (A class to G63) are from that brand. Very reasonably priced too.
