How do I know if my reservation is cancelable?

I have a reservation for end of July at LAX. But at this time I don't remember if the reservation is free to cancel or not, and this information is nowhere in the mail confirmation I received, in reservation details in the website, or in the reservation confirmation pdf I can download from the site.

Did you make the reservation at the Sixt website? Did you prepay for it? What happens when you try to bring the reservation up online and click the cancel button? Does it show that any cancellation penalty will be assessed?
