SIXT PLT for AA EXP with a nice discount
 

I made a res with Sixt through AMEX (20% off of most categories including luxury,) for a MB CLA at LAX $230 prepaid all in which is less that what Dollar wanted for a full size on a city special. In the process of review, the email from Sixt wanted additional information, and when I applied for the frequent renters program to get express service, it asked for my AA status (EXP) and screen shot. Entered and immediately became PLT and the rental went from $230 all in to $210 all in. Very nice. I checked SFO also, but not as good a deal.

Interesting. I read through the T&C of the AmEx 20% offer I received and it said it wasn't valid on prepaid rentals. Also tried to make a prepaid booking via the link on AmEx for the promo code NFGZ421340607 and no option for the discount code when trying a prepaid rental.

There was no place to enter the code, so I assume clicking thru the link automatically entered it. I didn't read all the T&C's as I was happy with the alternatives and prices. The res was prepaid, but the price adjusted down once I got PLT.

How many days for $230?

One week. The total due is $210 including all taxes and fees.
