Rent a BMW M3 in Munich?

Does anyone know what station in Munich has BMW M3's available for rent or how to go about finding out? Sixt's website has them listed in the fleet, but finding one is difficult. Perhaps none are available?

I am also planning on dropping it off in Frankfurt. Can these be rented one way?

On a related note, the BMW 3er lists GPS as a bookable option, but I've rented a BMW in Germany before where it was pre-installed in the dash. Of course, it was with Avis so I'm not really comparing apples to apples. Do the Sixt 3er's not come with it pre-installed?

Sixt has M3 available in Munich in following Sixt locations:

München Airport (DE)
München Schwabing (DE)
München Westin Gr Arabellapark (DE)

You need to pickup/return to same location.

If you are interested short term rental one option is to rent from BMW On Demand.

From BMW on Demand you can rent for one hour with price of 45 euros (150 km included). Half day rentals 9AM - 5PM or 5PM - 9AM costs 135 euros (450 km included). BMW On Demand also has other BMW M cars like M5, M6 with "slightly" higher prices.

I have rented M3 from Sixt Munich several times. You can read more from
roadtravelclub.com website.

These come from Sixt Luxury fleet, and I think they are not allowed to be taken on one-ways.

This link: http://www.sixt.de/luxusautos will take you to the appropriate part of the website. There are only a limited number of M3s in the fleet, so you may need to be slightly flexible with your dates.

The post above has the stations listed. I use the Schwabing one frequently and can recommend it.

As far as I know, most of the 3 series have GPS now.

Airport and train stations locations charge 21,5% location surcharge. Longer term rentals it makes quite a difference. I usually rent from city location (Schwabing). I think Westin Grand Munich Arabellapark has been added just recently as option for luxury car rentals (if you go there during the summer you probably understand why). If I would be staying Westin Grand or opposite Sheraton Arabellapark I would probably consider renting from Sixt Westin Grand location.
As mentioned in earlier post Sixt does not allow one-way rentals for Luxury cars. You can always try to ask as long as it's between stations that have luxury fleet.
If you fancy Porsche 911 then you could try Avis since at least in past they have allowed one-ways between stations that have Avis Prestige fleet (Porsche). I think they charged extra 25 euros for one-way between cities and nothing within the same city.
Avis has offer for 911 rental if your rentals starts between Monday - Thursday. 199 eur / day with 250 km per day included. Link: http://www.avis.de/50jahre911

Not sure if all of their 3 series have GPS. As far as I remember, I had a built-in GPS on my BMW 3 series at FRA.

Thanks,

I'm afraid I can't. I'm only 20, so still a few years away... :D Closest I've been to an M3 was when I walked past two of them to get to my A3 last time I rented from Sixt :p

But I just tried a couple of dates through this link, and they came up. Not cheap though, around 178€ for one day, with 250km.
