Cars with Automatic as extras
When you rent cars in Sweden, the most cars have automatic as extra, and which they charge extra for, around 100sek/day. However some cars that are only available with automatic (as a standard) for example BMW X5 is anyway sold as a Manual car.
Anyone knows why they do this?. Also, when renting STW or Sedan models and add automatic as extra its always "due to availibilty". When do i know if this is available? upon pick-up? And last.. When I rent a car from Sixt, can i always be sure of getting a car from recent model year? |

Example: current BMW 1 was launched around September 2011, so by now, the new model is available in most countries. BMW 3 limousine was only launched in March 2012, so the BMW 3 fleet at SIXT is still a mixture of the old and new model. |
