Sixt Question - ???
 

Hello all,

I am flying in to Dusseldorf and made a reservation with Sixt at the airport for a BMW Gran Turismo.....I wanted a higher class car but they did not show a higher class online and when I called them they said this was the highest available.
Yesterday I checked around Dusseldorf and Sixt has a rental center less than 8km from the airport and I was able to secure a reservation for a BMW 7 series....so I cancelled the one at the airport...

Is the availability of cars that different that I now have to catch a cab to the location for the 7 :confused: For those of you that have rented from this location or with Sixt are they pretty good at getting you what you reserved? I do not want to get to this place and end up with something different....does sixt at the airport offer a shuttle service to the alternative rental location??

no 7 series at DUS airport ?
Wow, you won´t have this too often.

You also may check availability at this SIXT station:
Düsseldorf Unterrath/H.Maritim

This station is located at the Maritim airport hotel, which is really close nearby the airport terminal, just 3 min walk away. Even closer than the distance you´d have to walk from the SIXT airport counter to the rental car parking garage.

If booking a 7series you can def. be sure to get a 7series or a S-class.
